USB2U's Environment
At USB2U, we know how important it is to have a happy and healthy environment, which is reflected in our sustainability vision.
Some of our targets include:
Transporting 70% of our stock to the UK by sea freight to reduce the pollution associated with Air Travel.
Aiming to finish 80% of all orders in the UK.
Choosing our delivery partners based on their carbon emissions.
To raise our employees' sustainable practices, we have an electric car scheme available to all eligible employees. This ensures our employees can reduce their carbon footprints by switching from traditional fuel methods to a new electric car. We also offer a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme to encourage our local employees to drive less.
In our factory, we use EON renewable energy to keep us running on more efficient energy!
Sustainability Champions
We have appointed Sam (Senior Account Manager) and Sara (Creative Marketing Manager) to be the face of our sustainability journey.
This role includes ensuring packaging and waste are being recycled accordingly aswell as assisting in product development to ensure we are keeping up with our sustainable product range targets. With a passion for sustainability in their own lives, we just knew these 2 would be perfect for the job.
Sedex
USB2U has signed up to sedex. We have a rating of 4.3/5 and are always looking for ways to improve this score (besides buying a fire engine)
Stepforward Pledge
We signed up for BPMA's Stepforward pledge. The BPMA is a founding body for promotional merchandise, their Stepforward Pledge ensures businesses are measuring their goals and working towards a greener future.
