What would you pack in an Emergency

What would you pack in an Emergency

Power cuts, storms and emergency kits. These are just 3 of the reasons to push tech this autumn season.

There has been a lot of talk on the news regarding emergency kits. The government is urging people to consider a box to help them get through an emergency.

So we asked our team what they would put in an emergency kit for tackling power outages or natural disasters.

The basics first

Bottled water, torches, blankets and food for the whole family (pets included, of course).
Once those were covered, the tech picks came out.

1) A Power Bank

The top item for us was a power bank!

Whether you choose to keep it as a backup to keep your phone alive or use it to keep your handheld console charged to avoid boredom, it is a great item to have.

We recommend a 10000 mAh; this means up to 2 full battery charges of a standard smartphone and could be used to charge multiple devices at the same time.

2) A clip-on light

A light is always a good option; a torch is a must-have, of course, but a ring light could be a great addition to your pack. Clip onto pets or children to keep an eye on where they are in a power cut or out and about in the dark.

3) A Multi-Cable

My personal addition is a multi-cable. Kids' devices, e-readers, or phones- you never know what you need to charge. Having a power bank is helpful, but you need to be able to charge all the devices you may need. Having all the connectors you may need in 1 cable will be an easy charging solution.

4) Smart Tags

Smart tags are a new addition to us, but we think these would be a great thing to have. Keep track of belongings or family members through a simple app. (Ours are compatible with both Android and Apple; your clients will love these)

Make it yours

As well as the individual products above, we also offer custom tech sets. Pick the essentials you want, and we’ll pack them into a branded box with your logo on both the box and the products inside. It’s an easy way to give your clients a ready-made  emergency kit their customers will actually use.
