Branded USB Memory Stick Advent Calendar
Advent calendars have been a key part of our Christmas festivities for over 150 years now and are a great, fun way to count down the days during December culminating on Christmas day on the 25th December.
Advent calendars originally had a much more religious focus than they often do today albeit many of the advent calendars aimed at children with little chocolates and gifts behind each “window” still reinforce the religious Advent period with nativity scenes on the calendar. Advent is derived from the Latin word adventus meaning “coming” and the countdown of the 25 days represents the waiting and preparation period leading up to Christmas Day.
Today Christmas itself has become a global, secular celebration and with this transition Advent calendars have become much more commercialised and often bear no reference to their original roots.
At USB2U we’ve put together our own Branded USB Memory Stick Advent calendar to countdown to Christmas. It’s a bit of fun during this festive time of year whilst still being respectful to the origins of the Advent tradition.
