Our most popular branded USB memory stick is now available in any combination of 2000 colours and sizes!
That’s right, the Twister USB has always been a hit with our customers thanks to the amount of colours and memory sizes on offer, but we’ve added to that in a big way. You can now choose from any combination of 22 vibrant body colours and 15 stunning clip colours all from UK stock.
The clip is the piece that “twists” or “rotates” (hence this particular memory stick’s name) to protect the USB, and previously they were only available in black, white or silver – but with 12 extra clip shades now available, there really is no limit when it comes to style!
What’s more, there are ten memory sizes available ranging from 128Mb to 64Gb. So no matter how big or small your requirements are, we’ll definitely have something for you in the twister usb range.
If you’re not sure which combination will work best with your logo, our designers will prepare a range of options for you to consider and we don’t charge for this service.
Still not sure? Just give our sales team a call and chat through your requirements and we can advise you on the best options for you.

We are proud to announce our new partnership with Kingston Technology. Kingston is the world’s largest independent manufacturer of memory products with its global headquarters in Fountain Valley, California. Kingston serves an international network of distributors, resellers, retailers and OEM customers on six continents.
We now offer a specially selected range of Kingston USBs as part of our range of high quality USB flash drives. Great co-branding opportunities are available for our customers with Kingston USB flash drives. The USB flash drives can be printed digitally or laser engraved depending on the chosen USB style.
Encrypt your USBs to secure data
Many companies deal with sensitive data and require the best possible protection for their information. We offer three Kingston USB flash drives which are hardware encrypted and ideal for secure use:
1) Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ G3
Kingston’s DataTraveler® Locker+ G3 secures receipts, bank statements and other sensitive documents with hardware encryption and password protection for a double layer of data security. The drive locks down and re-formats after 10 failed login attempts, so users can rest assured that their data is safe even if the drive is lost or stolen. It features a durable metal casing to protect the drive from drops, bumps and knocks plus its built-in key loop makes it convenient to take your data anywhere. The cap fits on the back of the drive so it won’t get lost.
SuperSpeed™ (USB 3.0) delivers faster performance and it is backward compatible to previous generation. DataTraveler Locker+ G3 is easy for anyone to set up and easy to use. With no application installation required all the software and security needed is built in. It works on both Windows systems and Macs so users can access files from multiple systems, without installing a program on every computer used.
DataTraveler Locker+ G3 also offers cloud backup as an optional feature. Users can choose to automatically back up data from their DataTraveler Locker+ G3 to Google DriveTM, OneDrive (Microsoft®), Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox or Box, so if the drive is lost or stolen, their data is in a safe place. This feature is available for Windows only.
2) DataTraveler 4000 G2
DataTraveler 4000 G2 is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified and provides a tamper-evident seal for physical security to detect and respond to attempts to access, use or modify the cryptographic module. Data is protected by hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption in XTS mode and the drive casing is made of titanium coated stainless steel. The drive is designed to reduce the possibility of successful brute force attacks as it locks down and reformats after 10 failed password attempts.
SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) technology means that users don’t have to compromise transfer speeds for security. Companies can add the drive to their standards list with confidence since its industry-leading NAND and controller design allow for NAND to be interchanged without requalification and certification of security features. The DataTraveler 4000 G2 is TAA compliant, to meet a frequently requested corporate and government IT requirement.
3) Kingston DataTraveler Privacy 3.0
Kingston’s DataTraveler® Vault Privacy 3.0 (DTVP 3.0) USB Flash drive provides affordable business-grade security with 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption using XTS block cipher mode, which offers stronger protection than CBC and ECB modes. It protects 100% of stored data and enforces complex password protection with minimum characteristics to prevent unauthorised access. For additional peace of mind, the drive locks down and reformats after 10 intrusion attempts. It also features a read-only access mode to avoid potential malware risks.
DTVP 3.0 is available with optional, easy-to-deploy anti-virus protection from ESET* that protects the drive’s content from viruses, spyware, Trojans, worms, rootkits, adware and other Internet-borne threats. The ESET NOD32® anti-virus engine provides instant alerts, requires no installation and comes with a five-year pre-activated licence.
The DTVP 3.0 Anti-Virus model features easy-to-deploy anti-virus protection from ESET2 that protects the drive’s content from viruses, spyware, Trojans, worms, rootkits, adware and other Internet-borne threats. The ESET NOD32® anti-virus engine provides instant alerts. This anti-virus protection requires no installation and comes with a five-year pre-activated licence.

Forget the Saracens there’s something special happening down the M6 at the Ricoh Stadium just outside of Coventry. New Stadium, a successful Secured Bond which raised £35m, a strong team, a growing support base in the midlands and the best looking New Members’ Welcome Pack bar none!
As a Northampton based supplier of Promotional USB Memory Sticks and staunch supporters of rivals Northampton Saints we’re gutted that Wasps have outgunned and out flanked the Saints with this brilliant membership pack – call us biased but we think the jewel in pack is the little black “Twister” USB stick that according to the Wasps website has been filled with tons of exciting content including; mobile phone and desktop screensavers and embedded links to video clips of the best tries of the 2014/15 season.
If we weren’t all die-hard Saints supporters we’d think very seriously about taking up one of their incredibly attractive (and cheap relative to the Saints) membership deals and not just to get a free USB stick! Some of us at USB2U live closer to Daventry and Rugby making the Ricoh Stadium arguably easier to get to than Franklins Gardens! – tempting…..
In the meantime we’ll just keep knocking on the door at Franklins Gardens and encouraging the marketing team to follow the lead of Wasps RFC.
Of course the perfect welcome pack as far as we’re concerned would be a pack that not only includes a branded USB stick but also includes a promotional power bank – these would be ideal to take to the game (or on those longer away trips) as a way of keeping you smart phone charged. After all as supporters we’re all encouraged these days to “Tweet from our seats” and to follow the team on Social Media. Not so easy to do if your phone is out of battery power hence why a power bank would be such a great members gift.
Get the power bank printed up in the clubs colours and include the URL’s or links to the various Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest pages and as a club you’ll have covered all the bases. They’re also a great option to sell in the Club Shop (either at the stadium or on-line) and they’ll make a welcome change from the usual mugs, caps, keyrings and mini rugby balls.

The political party conference bandwagon rolls on this week with the Conservatives holding their annual conference in Manchester. The anti-austerity protesters have grabbed the early headlines with a reported 60,000 people showing their unhappiness at a broad range of measures that the Conservatives are looking to introduce.
On the plus side for the Conservatives last years ban on Champagne has been lifted and the resounding victory they achieved during the last election will no-doubt ensure that the overriding mood during the conference will be hugely positive.
Of course during any conference (political or otherwise) there is much serious business to attend to and lots of information to disseminate to the attendees. The main stages and theatres at any conference tend to be surrounded by lots of “pop-up” stands organised by lobby groups, commercial organisations and groups that want to promote and sell their ideas or promote and sell their products and services.
Many of these, including at the main parties at the political conferences, will use branded USB sticks as the vehicle to disseminate their message. Historically you might have been handed a CD or DVD but today with less and less PC’s and Mac’s being sold with a built in CD/DVD reader USB sticks have become the de facto alternative.
Branded Memory Sticks for Conferences
The beauty of a USB stick is that they look great branded up with a logo and strap line and they typically have loads of digital storage (8GB is the norm these days for a give-away USB stick). This amount of storage means you can pre-load onto the stick all of your conference slides, speaker notes, video clips, marketing brochures and any press releases you might have prepared for the event.
By putting all of this information onto a USB stick there is no need to print the material, there’s less paper used and printed, less stuff to lug around in boxes, less petrol and transport costs and less waste! All these savings mean that the cost of the USB sticks can be more than offset and as a company or organisation you look much more professional, you can play the “eco card” and of course everyone loves being given a “freebie” like a USB stick!
If you’re a conference organiser you’ll find that USB sticks can be a real saviour. By digitising your content and loading it onto a USB stick you can extend your copy dealines, you can give your speakers a little more time and you can make last minute changes that you simply can’t do with printed material.
Whatever your political leaning branded USB memory sticks at a conference make sense! Order them now from USB2U – please.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of weeks you’ll have noticed there’s a little bit of trouble brewing in China – the financial markets are in turmoil, share prices are in freefall and its anyone’s guess where its all going to end. Depending on what you read or who you believe it could be anything from a bit of a “bump” to financial Armageddon!
Damian McBride a former advisor to Gordon Brown appeared to suggest that the stock market dip could lead to global civil disorder or other situations where it would be unreasonable for someone to leave the house. Amongst his many suggestions is stocking up on bottled water and tinned food!
One of the many things China needs to do to address its current problem is to continue trading and demonstrate strength in its own capabilities as the manufacturing powerhouse in the world. The global centre for the production of Promotional USB Memory Sticks is in Shenzhen City in Guangdong Province, China and the USB factories have continued to churn out USB sticks in the tens of thousands every day during the “crisis”.
The clear message coming from the USB memory sticks factories is that its business as usual!
BUT, and it it’s a big BUT there is a something looming on the near horizon that will bring production to a grinding halt and that’s the National Holiday. From the 27th September to 8th October China effectively closes for business. Nothing will get manufactured, nothing will get shipped and no new orders will be accepted.
Irrespective of the turmoil in financial markets China is going on holiday!
So, if you are thinking of ordering some promotional USB memory sticks for an event in late September or October then you either need to get your order in now (so your sticks can be produced and shipped before the holidays start) or you may have to wait until the factories return after their holiday – if you take the risk and wait do bear in mind that it takes a couple of weeks for the factories to catch up with the inevitable backlog that will have built up!
As usual during these holidays we’ll be stocking up on a wide range of blank USB sticks that we can print/engrave in-house. This allows us to continue to offer a 24hr “rush service” but of course it will be on a much narrower range of products than shown on our website.
We’ll also be “tweeting” out lots of offers and promos during the holidays so it might be worthwhile following us on your Twitter account if you’re not doing so already.

If you’ve been challenged to come up with a promotional gift for a forthcoming event, campaign or conference then you’re pretty quickly going to realise that it’s not as easy as you might have thought. Coming up with something a little bit different and something that is relevant to your target audience, something that represents and fits with your company’s brand value(s) and perhaps more importantly something that is within budget can be tough!
The obvious “go to” choices for most people looking for Promotional Giveaways are printed bags, printed pens, key rings, cups and mugs etc. These have been around for years and they’ve maintained their popularity because they’re reasonably cheap, they’re pretty easy to get hold of (even with your brand on) and they’re an “easy” choice. But, what about USB memory sticks?
Promotional USB Twister Flash Drives
Branded USB memory sticks (to be clear that’s a USB memory stick with your company’s name on and not a memory stick from a well known manufacturer who puts their brand or logo on them) not only look fantastic when printed up with a company logo but they’re incredibly popular with the people you give them to because they really are very useful and handy things to have.
USB Sticks are available in a huge range of styles and memory sizes and if you buy a reasonable number (say 200 or more) and you go for a small memory version you can pick them up for less than £1.50 each. You could even get your own design/shape commissioned (perhaps in the shape of one of your products) – these full 3D custom sticks only cost a little bit more. Just remember if you do go down the custom route to allow yourself a little longer when placing the order.
Where a USB stick really comes into its own compared to other promotional gifts is the ability to pre-load them with things like your marketing material, videos, sales data sheets, price lists, web links etc. etc. If you’re really organised these files can be loaded for you by the factory during the manufacturing process. The cost of doing this is tiny and in some cases free but it does rely on you having the information and files ready when you place the order. By loading this sort of material onto the USB sticks before you hand them out you can cover the cost of the sticks by the saving you make by not getting quite so many items printed!
With the rise in prominence of USB sticks (or flash drives as they are often called) there are plenty of companies now supplying them in the UK. If you do decide to add them to your short list then shop around to make sure you get the best deal. Please buy from a reputable supplier with a proven track record because its all too easy to buy cheap/cheerful versions that are not quite what they seem and will have a high failure rate.

It happens – the excitement, the stress, the pressure and the desire to do a brilliant job and show to everyone how capable you are but then the smallest little detail trips you up and it all goes pear shaped. That career defining moment becomes a career defining moment for all the wrong reasons!
We’ve all been there and its not pleasant. It’s that sinking, horrible feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when it suddenly dawns on you that your job or career is on the line because of things that are outside of your control. However, if you’ve simply forgotten to do something then arguably you’re at fault and you’ll have to live with the consequences no matter how painful they are.
But, if you’ve been working diligently on a project that has a hard deadline and right at the last minute you’re let down by a supplier that they can’t deliver your on time then it might not exactly be your fault but the consequences might be just as painful.
All the planning and preparation in the world can’t accommodate these little “bombs” when they happen but what you can do is try and factor in a little contingency in your schedule. Its not always easy and we understand that “contingency” has a nasty habit of just being “absorbed” in the project.
If the cause of your angst is the supply of promotional USB memory sticks then don’t panic. At USB2U we pride ourselves on being the “4th Emergency Service” of the branded USB memory stick world. Unlike most other suppliers who simply place your order on a factory in China, at USB2U we brand and finish over 50% of all USB sticks we supply in our office in the UK. We always carry tens of thousands of USB sticks in stock and we can print, engrave, data-load and package them in just few hours!
Our Trustpilot reviews (over 3,000 predominantly 5* “Excellent” reviews) are full of customers who’ve been amazed by our ability to get them out of trouble and turn around their order in a matter of hours.
We don’t limit you to just one model, one colour and one memory size either – if you do need to use our “Rush Service” then you’ll typically have over 20 different models to choose from in a range of colours and memory sizes! We also carry a wide range of gift boxes (which we can also brand), lanyards, keyrings and other accessories.
The best thing to do if you’re in a hurry is call us. Our experienced team can talk you through the options, they’ll explain what we need from you to handle your order and give you a firm idea about when we can deliver for you (typically it’s within 24hrs unless we happen to be incredibly busy)

Are your sales are faltering and lagging behind forecast. Perhaps they’re just in need a bit of a boost or is it something more fundamental about your proposition that needs challenging? Maybe you’ve got a new product or service that you’re about to launch or perhaps you’re looking for something to help entice potential customers to your stand at a show or event?
If any or all of the above apply to you or your company then one of the best ways to increase the awareness of who you are, what you do or what you sell (and hopefully drive your sales) is to give your customers something for free. This could manifest itself as a competition or prize draw but typically it takes the form of a “promotional gift”. Ideally any promotional gift needs to be relevant, it needs to have a high-perceived value and it needs to be useful enough for the recipient to want it and to want to use it on an on-gong basis.
The market is full of promotional products including branded caps, mugs, pens, sweets, keyrings, umbrellas and T-shirts but one of the most popular promotional products is a USB memory stick – The most recent survey carried out by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) on behalf of its members found that 45% of the respondents considered the USB sticks the best to be the best product with 64% ranking them the most useful (64%). Pretty compelling statistics!
There is now a huge range of USB sticks to choose from, they all look fantastic when printed with a logo and of course they (unlike most other promotional giveaways) can be pre-loaded with tons of sales and marketing material, dynamic links to web sites, video clips, presentations and so on.
Prices of promotional USB sticks have also fallen over the last few years making them even more attractive as a giveaway. If you buy one of the more basic models in a high enough numbers and with a low(ish) memory (say 128MB) then you’ll get them for around £1.50 per unit!
Whilst they won’t be the right choice for every company, product launch, trade show or PR event you can’t escape the fact that continued re-use of USB sticks, which in turn generates brand awareness, brand loyalty and which then hopefully creates a brand advocate and increased sales is exactly what most companies want from any promotional product!
Equipping your sales force with branded USB memory sticks to hand out as they met their customers is a nice touch and a great way to enable them to “thank” their customers for their on-going support.

Confidence is one of the key factors when you’re buying from a company that you deal with over the Internet. Confidence that you’re in safe hands, confidence that you’ll actually get what you ordered and in time for when you need them and confidence that should things go wrong (as they occasionally do) that the company is able and willing to front up and deal with the issues.
Of course it’s not unheard of for companies to exaggerate claims about their capabilities to stretch the truth a little or to flat out lie about what the quality of what they are selling and to avoid dealing with any post sales issues or queries that might arise.
In an age when a great looking website can be thrown up in a matter of hours/days its relatively easy for anyone to claim they are the “greatest” supplier, that they have “thousands of satisfied customers” and that they can deliver top quality products in a matter of days. But, should you trust everything you read on a companies own website and take it as fact?
Printed Twister USB Sticks
Before you place any order for promotional products (like branded USB memory sticks) that are going to carry your brand and logo on them we’d strongly advocate that you try and validate some of the comments claimed on the companies website that you plan to buy from. It’s one thing having a bad Internet shopping experience when you’re buying something for yourself but trusting your company’s brand and reputation to a 3rd party based purely on what they say about themselves is to put it mildly “a little risky”.
The Internet not only enables the little start up companies to compete with the bigger boys BUT more fundamentally it gives a strong voice to customers to share their shopping experiences (good and bad) with other prospective customers. Just as you’d use a site like Trip Advisor to review a hotel or holiday company before you make a booking we’d strongly advocate using 3rd party review sites like Trustpilot to see what customers are saying about suppliers of products like branded USB memory sticks.
Arguably such review sites (providing there is a critical mass of reviews and providing they are recent) are a safer way to gauge the capabilities of a company to deliver against their promises.
At USB2U we strongly encourage all of our customers to review the service they’ve received from us on Trustpilot. We already have around 2,9000 reviews and we expect to smash through 3,000 reviews in the next couple of weeks. So, if you’re thinking of ordering your branded flash drives from us then don’t just take our word for how good our service is check out what thousands of customers are saying – we’re currently ranked as “Excellent” with a trust score of 9.7 out of 10.
